Support for the people who support young people.

Mentoring and coaching for counsellors and wellbeing practitioners working with youth and adolescents.

What I Offer

Counselling with Eb offers mentoring and coaching for counsellors, wellbeing staff and early career practitioners who work with young people. This space is about reflective practice, skill building and emotional sustainability in youth mental health work. It is not clinical supervision, but a supportive space to grow in confidence and clarity in the work you do.

Mentoring sessions offer a space to slow things down, reflect on what is coming up in your work and build confidence in how you show up in the room with young people. This space is grounded, practical and focused on what actually helps in real world youth mental health settings.

Sessions can be used to:
• Debrief tricky clients
• Reflect on patterns you are noticing
• Build your practical toolbox
• Think through attachment dynamics and relational challenges
• Navigate risk conversations and safety planning
• Make sense of the emotional load of youth work
• Strengthen confidence in your therapeutic style

Sessions are held via telehealth and can be one off or ongoing, depending on what feels most helpful for you.

*This space is for mentoring and coaching support and does not replace formal clinical supervision requirements.

About Eb

I work in a school setting and have hands-on experience supporting young people with a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges, including risk management planning and safety conversations.

My background is in youth and adolescent mental health, and I draw from a range of evidence based frameworks in my work, including DBT, CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, schema therapy and attachment based approaches. In practice, I focus on what is actually useful in real sessions, not just theory.

I genuinely enjoy supporting other counsellors in navigating tricky client dynamics, risk management, and the emotional complexity of working with young people. This work can be meaningful and heavy at the same time, and having a space to reflect and build skills can make a real difference.
